The rule of peace

The focus of our new lives is to be Jesus Christ, who in verse 1 “sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.” He is our Lord, and so he is also the Lord of all we possess. We submit to Jesus and allow him full authority over all of our life, including our future, our health, our money, our career, our friendships, our talents, and our time; among other things.
